Political Month in Review: (March 2008) by Willie Williamson

     Retarded Spitzer

     Dumb Ass Ferraro

     Dumb Ass Clinton

     Dumb Ass Obama

     Retarded Wright

Eliot Spitzer: Lets face it…Eliot Spitzer is loony. Former NYC Mayor Koch said it best when asked about Spitzer on a television interview, “he’s got a screw loose…”  My guess is that Koch hit the nail on the head. It doesn’t take a genius, schooled in the science of the mind to rightfully make such an observation about a person. Crazy people telegraph their distorted view of themselves and the world in many ways…Spitzer is a prime example of this. He seemed to regard himself in some kind of ego-maniacal way. People close to him may not have uttered this fact openly, out of fear, but they certainly are coming out of the closet about it now that he is no longer a threat to them.

In a nutshell, Spitzer was the Governor of New York, which made him the chief law enforcement officer of that State. He committed multiple crimes, of which some are felonies. He was caught…told to step down or be thrown out on his ass, and will hopefully be prosecuted for the crimes. Spitzer should be treated fairly, and without strong, vindictive emotion by those who may be charged with carrying out the task of prosecuting him for his criminal acts. They should not stoop to the low level; ‘he’ did in his treatment of others as a prosecutor. The man is a lunatic…remember that…make a clear case, get him sentenced, and insist he receive psychological help. >>Index

Geraldine Ferraro: Not much to say about her or her stupid situation with the Obama remark. She has a history of being a rather mundane, common, old-school political, get-little-accomplished, office holder, from the corrupt, Queens/NYC Democratic Party, which pretty much wraps up any wonderment about her.  I spent most of my life, living in Queens, New York…I had many a day feeling sick to my stomach watching, listening to, or hearing about her, Sabbatino, Manes, Manton, D’Amico, Onorato, DeMarco, Hevesi, Vallone…to name a few. >>Index

My only question is…did her dumb-ass statement come from using the wrong medication, the wrong dose, not taking her medication, booze, illegal drug use, dementia, or just sheer stupidity?

Hillary Clinton: Asks Ferraro to step aside from any political campaign activities for her because of a stupid remark about herself and Obama’s qualifying for a run at the Presidency, but lets her wayward husband Bill, keep appearing on her behalf. Now…is that a dumb-assed thing to do or what? >>Index

Barack Obama: We shouldn’t let Obama off the hook about his dismissal of Jeremiah Wright’s tyrannical, divisive, mean, racist, inflammatory outbursts as something akin to an “old school” uncle sometimes saying something that you don’t agree with. That certainly comes off as a dumb-ass statement, Barack. Do you expect the masses to smile, laugh and nod in acceptable agreement with you?

Personally, I want so much to trust in your ability to make good, sound judgments and decisions for us as President of the United States. I want to witness strength enough in you to be able to express your dismay at the words of a seemingly, angry, mean-spirited, un-Christian-like man, who calls himself Reverend even if it might cost you some votes amongst his blind, followers. Imagine all the votes you will save, or gain for yourself by openly separating yourself from people like Wright…votes from people like me, who are not yet convinced you are the right candidate for the office you seek.

Stop adding to the worry we people have about you, who are waiting on the fringes, not quite sure yet if you are truly the same man ‘inside’ as you project outwardly. We have been fooled so many times before…we are not taken in by the lame, frenzied gathering of those swooning over empty, smooth words and a luring smile. Walk your talk…be a man…a ‘real’ man of the people, not a man of a single or handful of evil spewing tyrants.

Obama’s Church Response to J. Wright’s Media Attention? – 3/16/08

“AN ATTACK ON OUR SENIOR PASTOR AND THE HISTORY OF THE AFRICAN AMERICAN CHURCH"

Police Blues has posted this blog segment from the following link below, by someone representing themselves as Rev. Chuck Currie of United Church of Christ. The statement has received coverage by news agencies today, 3/16/08. Police Blues does not represent this statement as an authorized UCC release, having no success verifying the authenticity of its source.

“AN ATTACK ON OUR SENIOR PASTOR AND THE HISTORY OF THE AFRICAN AMERICAN CHURCH"

Chicago, Ill. (March 15, 2008) — Nearly three weeks before the 40th commemorative anniversary of the murder of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.’s character is being assassinated in the public sphere because he has preached a social gospel on behalf of oppressed women, children and men in America and around the globe.

“Dr. Wright has preached 207,792 minutes on Sunday for the past 36 years at Trinity United Church of Christ. This does not include weekday worship services, revivals and preaching engagements across America and around the globe, to ecumenical and interfaith communities. It is an indictment on Dr. Wright’s ministerial legacy to present his global ministry within a 15- or 30-second sound bite,” said the Reverend Otis Moss III, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ.

During the 36-year pastorate of Dr. Wright, Trinity United Church of Christ has grown from 87 to 8,000 members. It is the largest congregation in the United Church of Christ (UCC) denomination.

“It saddens me to see news stories reporting such a caricature of a congregation that has been such a blessing to the UCC’s Wider Church mission,” said the Rev. John H. Thomas, UCC general minister and president, in a released statement. “ … It’s time for us to say ‘No’ to these attacks and declare that we will not allow anyone to undermine or destroy the ministries of any of our congregations in order to serve their own narrow political or ideological ends.”

Trinity United Church of Christ’s ministry is inclusive and global. The following ministries have been developed under Dr. Wright’s ministerial tutelage for social justice: assisted living facilities for senior citizens, day care for children, pastoral care and counseling, health care, ministries for persons living with HIV/AIDS, hospice training, prison ministry, scholarships for thousands of students to attend historically black colleges, youth ministries, tutorial and computer programs, a church library, domestic violence programs and scholarships and fellowships for women and men attending seminary.

Moss added, “The African American Church was born out of the crucible of slavery and the legacy of prophetic African American preachers since slavery has been and continues to heal broken marginalized victims of social and economic injustices. This is an attack on the legacy of the African American Church which led and continues to lead the fight for human rights in America and around the world.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached the Christian tenet, “love thy neighbor as thyself.” Before Dr. King was murdered on April 4, 1968, he preached, “The 11 o’clock hour is the most segregated hour in America.” Forty years later, the African American Church community continues to face bomb threats, death threats, and their ministers’ characters are assassinated because they teach and preach prophetic social concerns for social justice. Sunday is still the most segregated hour in America.

Mission Statement From Barack Obama’s Church (website) - 3/16/08

Mission Statement: What Trinity Is About

Trinity United Church of Christ has been called by God to be a congregation that is not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that does not apologize for its African roots! As a congregation of baptized believers, we are called to be agents of liberation not only for the oppressed, but for all of God’s family. We, as a church family, acknowledge, that we will, building on this affirmation of "who we are" and "whose we are," call men, women, boys and girls to the liberating love of Jesus Christ, inviting them to become a part of the church universal, responding to Jesus’ command...     continue reading...

Hillary’s, Manic Spending Sprees?  by Willie Williamson

Bipolar disorder may be the culprit behind recent reports of Clinton’s mad spending on things like Deli sandwiches, luxury suites in Nevada and allegedly, 50 million dollars for consultants. I could have saved her campaign coffers 49 million dollars easily…for a mere mil, in consultation fees, I would have advised her to quit the race immediately, and take the bus home.

I’ve known people with Bipolar…in their manic state, they talk loudly, fast, furious and incessantly. They develop a wide eyed, accusing, facial expression and then laugh when you act surprised by their verbal attack. The manic mood also seems to send them off on spending sprees, like Hillary’s people, throwing money around like it was confetti.

A good friend of mine used to give thousands of dollars away to people she perceived as needing a helping hand-out. She would go into mom-and-pop stores in the neighborhood, buy a few hundred dollars worth of goods that she had little or no use for, in order to raise their sales receipts for the day. These actions would only occur when she was forgetting to take her Lithium on a regular basis, or the dose needed to be adjusted.

I have watched Clinton very carefully during these political campaigning days of hers…there is certainly an indication that something is wrong with the firing of synapses. Not that mine are firing in the right order, or with the right frequency…maybe that’s why I can see it in her. It takes one to know one, it’s been said. Let’s face it…something seems certainly wrong with her demeanor quite often; does she look straight to you, or do you detect something askew in the membrane?

Getting back to her spending habits…if she ever does make it back into the White House, this countries finances will sink further into turmoil, unless she turns the purse strings over to Bill, perhaps. From most accounts, when Bill ran the office, the country had a surge in prosperity. Bush sent the economy spiraling shortly after he took office, due to his medicinal problem, Hillary is sure to do the same. Unless of course, she stays in a depressive state, sleeping 16 hours a day, not leaving the house and eating Twinkies

Another Bust in the House – U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi Indicted by Dept. of Justice - 2/22/08

The Justice Department announced the indictment of U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi of Arizona on charges he supported legislation in exchange for a land deal, which fattened his pockets with more than $700,000. The thirty-five count indictment is charging Renzi with conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering, extortion and insurance fraud. Others named in the indictment are his former business partner, James W. Sandlin, of Texas, and Andrew Beardall, of Maryland.

Renzi could be sentenced to over 40 years in prison, if convicted on all counts of the 26 page indictment. He and his co-defendents are due to appear for arraignment March 6th, at the U.S. Magistrate Court in Tuscan, Arizona.

Rep. Renzi was a member of the House Intelligent Committee until April of last year, when he stepped down following an FBI raid on a family business, investigating whether he had used his office for personal gain…which appears to be the norm these days among our elected officials in Washington.

Isn’t it about time that we change the laws regarding allowable conduct for our representatives in Washington? Think of all the tax-payers money that could be saved by permitting criminal behaviour by House members, Senators and the Executive branch. We would be able to reduce a great deal of expenditures by law enforcement agencies, not having to investigate criminal conduct on the hill.  Perhaps we can go as far as to make criminality a pre-requisite for such office seekers? Full transparency in government would be less of a problem under these rules also…People would know the truth, and not stress their worried little minds as to why our lives are becoming increasingly worse, rather than better.

What’s Wrong With McCain

If you ask me…it’s hard to figure out what’s wrong with most of the current presidential candidates…but, something’s wrong with them all. Putting your finger on exactly what it is, is as tough as trying to finger the con inside the head of a pool-room hustler. You ‘know’ something’s up…you just can’t figure out what. Every time you think you got an old con-game figured out, they come along with a new twist on it; just like the politicians.

On the street, you learn a lot. It ain’t from a manual, or textbook someone eventually hands you…it’s from observation, listening and intuition. It helps a lot when someone with an ‘in’ smartens you up, too. Like an old pool-room junkie; some hard lined old bull who’s been around forever. The old guy who you remember as a kid, always there, sitting and watching everything. He seems to know all the regulars, and they all know him. He’s the guy you go to for advice. If he takes a liking to you…takes you under his wings…you’ll learn all the tricks and moves to look out for.

Getting back to the elections, and what’s wrong with McCain…this is what I see. The guy is angry all the time…I mean…even when the guy is smiling, he clenches his teeth and makes his jaw bulge under the strain. The guy looks and sounds like he’s ready to explode at the drop of a hat. A guy like this on the street, is a guy you might greet and chat awhile with, but you don’t bring home to meet the wife. You keep him a little at arms length. As long as he’s alright with you, you’re alright with him; that kind of thing.

McCain is like one of those guys. People who don’t know him, get a little nervous around him. He seems wound tight…dangerous. They hear about some tough times the guy went through earlier in life, like fighting in a war and stuff. Hearing this, they develop a sort of apathy, but a sense of caution. The way he talks and acts, seems to indicate that he lost it at some point, and is struggling to make a comeback.

Not that the man is bad…I ain’t saying that, he might be an angel, soft spoken, kind to old ladies, quiet but, say the wrong thing, and he’ll explode. He’ll over-react to small things. A guy like that might punch you in the face for putting ketchup on his hamburger in a diner. Maybe he doesn’t want ketchup, or maybe he wants to put it on himself. Most people would understand that you were trying to do a nice thing for them, guys like McCain, if they didn’t hit you, they’d curse you out.

Now…I don’t know if I want a guy like that in the White House with the red button on his desk…know what I mean? It’s a little scary to think about. Old man bush was kind of like this. I worried about him too. Fortunately he never made it into the second term, or else we might have gotten ourselves nuked in retaliation for a first strike. He could have bounced a missile off of China for a bad egg-roll or something…We got lucky there…Maybe not next time.

My advice to McCain: Lighten up dude...things ain't all that bad.

What's Wrong with Hillary? - by Willie Williamson - TAO

Personally, I think that there are more things wrong with having Hillary Clinton as President of the United States, than there would be right. As far as I’m concerned…a persons character fits or doesn’t fit the position of leadership they seek, or hold. Hillary has the type of verifiable personality flaws that hinders getting the job done. She has been accused of being a tyrant in the White House as First Lady, without anyone of note coming forward to defend her against those charges, so we can assume what we heard, is the truth.

There are many tales of her bullying and intimidating staff members into getting her own way. This character flaw has not seemed to have been corrected as Senator of New York. No one is coming out on her behalf, speaking to her kindness and consideration of others. She is a scornful woman, who is used to getting her way…right or wrong…in any manner she chooses. This is not a person I want representing me in the highest office of my country.

Her great flaw are the lies…she seems as much a liar as her husband Bill. Supporters of this woman refer to her gross lies as “miss-spoke, mistaken, embellishments” and other lightly worded defenses. Some are plainly, ‘GROSS’ lies. Running for cover with her daughter Chelsea in Bosnia dodging sniper fire, is considerably different than being told of reports of sniper fire in the area. Then, she has the audacity to claim that it was a miss-spoken recollection due to “lack of sleep” and has “owned up to it”. Owned up to it?!?! How…with another lie? Something is terribly wrong with this woman…dangerously, emotionally wrong.

Hillary should be spending more time at a mental health facility, on the couch, rather than on the campaign trail. That’s my take on her…I cold be wrong, I might be crazy…but it just might be a lunatic you’re looking for. If so, vote for her.

What’s Wrong with Barack?

by Willie Williamson – The Average Outsider

Barack comes off as a level headed, calm, smooth talking man of compassion, but under that veil seems to lay quite a different person. His charming way in front of an audience seems to be well rehearsed, and a learned skill. Watch him closely…you can easily see that Obama is acting…putting on a show. His gestures and mannerism is really not much different than most other politicians. Seems to me, Barack took lessons from the same acting coach, as did Hillary, Bill, and a host of others. The delivery might be a little different, but that’s due mostly to the speech writers.

Does Barack Obama’s association with Ex-Pastor Wright matter to me? Definitely…especially when that relationship is a “close” relationship, and ongoing for nearly twenty years. I’m a Christian, and if Wright was Pastor of my church spewing racial hate, I would expect him to be removed, or I would remove my children, and myself from that particular church –period. Enough has been said about that issue, of which my words would echo, so I am not going any further with the Wright thing. In my opinion…something is seriously flawed with Obama’s take on the whole thing.

On the issue of equating his “white mother’ or “white grandmother” on equal plane with the bigoted Wright, displays Barack’s flawed thinking also. As many have said…we can’t choose our blood relatives, but we certainly can choose our Pastor. Obama’s defense of Wright with “all the good things that he and the church has done…” amounts to a load of horse shit. A Christian church, and a man of God, is supposed to do good work in the community…it is not anything special, beyond what is expected. A true follower of Jesus Christ, anointed in the Spirit and believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, does not speak in a church to his congregation, like Jeremiah Wright.

“Typical white person”…????? What thinketh thee of a man who takes offense to being referred to as “articulate”, then freely uses a stereotypical remark about his white grandmother? Me, I don’t think much of a hypocrite like that…I don’t trust hypocrites, and I don’t want another one as my President.

Would somebody ‘PLEASE’ come out of the crowd who is worthy of our vote…I’m so tired of waiting.
